2019 Church-wide Reading Plan

The most recent Bible Reading Plan is a return to the popular 2016 Bible Reading Plan which walked readers through the New Testament in a single year. As with the original plan, this is designed to guide readers through the twenty-seven books of the New Testament. The order varies from their biblical sequence in order to provide theologically rich pairings and spread the Gospels out so readers see Jesus throughout the year. The flexible reading schedule also offers built-in opportunities for additional reflection and deeper study.

Past Bible Reading Plans

2018 Summer Genesis Reading Plan

This specific three-month reading plan helped us stay ahead of the summer sermon series—Meet Your Maker—walking through the OT book of Genesis. This plan was designed to have you reading about creation, the flood, the tower of babel, and the patriarchs all BEFORE they were covered in the Sunday sermon. This allowed you to be engaged with the text first, come with questions, and ultimately meet God, your maker.

2012 Snack/Meal/Feast Plans

Developing the habit of reading God's Word is essential for growth. The Snack, Meal, Feast format gives you a choice of varying reading levels throughout the year: Snack (brief excerpts), Meal (NT extensive), and Feast (OT/NT extensive).
